My friends, I love markets. I love to sell at them, I love to go to them, I love to swoon over booth displays both in person and on Pinterest, I love to be inspired by them and I love to prep for them. So, suffice it to say, I have been in my happy place this last week during final preparations for one of my favorite markets: A Very Vintage Market!
It’s THIS Saturday, JUNE 27 from 9am-4pm at the Lake City Community Center right outside of Seattle proper. The first 20 people get a gift bag of goodies and if you want the best stuff, come early. The line starts to form around 8-8:30am.
I outlined a few more details about this particular market in a previous post.
Here’s a sneak peek at some of the treasures that will pop up in my booth this month…
Lots of little bottles and bud vases + white wood candlesticks complete with taper candles!
A Luke Stillinger ORIGINAL. This is a vintage suitcase speaker! Plug in your phone or iPod and you have a portable speaker! Only $149 (Market Special)…anywhere else and you’re looking at $300+…and it wouldn’t be made by my husband..sooooo….
Aren’t these just the cutest? I’ve named them Arnold and Bernard.
Baskets, bins and cages
Vintage mailbox with a rusted ol’ flag
Vintage suitcase from Oakland, CA
Flea market cart
Little grey chair
Tall, skinny, white, chippy door
Alphabet framed art
AWESOME (almost kept it for myself!) rocking chair made of solid wood and old linens + floral pillow
This is simply a sampling…LOTS more at the booth!
Come by any time. Earlier is better for selection, but later is better for deals. I definitely negotiate at this market and the goal is to clear my booth while still making it worth my time profit-wise. I’m not sure what booth location I have yet, but I’ll be in the main room, so stop by and say hello!
There’s also a great coffee shop a couple blocks away…so that just adds to the enticement does it not?
See you Saturday!
